BANNER ADS Banner advertising allows you to put a banner ad on Joe's sites. As of December 2007, ads are seen by 400,000 uniques with over 1 million page views per day. If you have any questions, just ask. Ads start at midnight and end exactly 7 days (168 hours) later, or based on how many weeks you purchase. Sorry, Joe cannot offer any discounts for purchasing bulk. These spots go fast and if you don't buy one, someone else will. TOP BANNERS ~ $130 Per Week These banners appear at the top of the page (limit 6) and rotate position. These means your banner will be seen ever time the page loads, just a different spot every hour. Banners must be gif, jpg, or png format. The banner size is hardcoded at 140 x 80. If animated, there can be no less than 1 second per frame. How To Buy A Banner Spot Look at the availability page to see what is available and when. Buy a spot by paying for the next available time for the spot you want. If you'd like to hold on to a spot so no one can buy it, just buy for 4 weeks (sorry, 4 weeks is the longest block of time you can pay for). Just remember that if the ad has less than 7 days (168 hours) remaining until it expires, the banner spot will not be saved. Renewing A Spot Advertisers renewing a spot can hold onto a spot IF, and only IF, they pay for the renewal at least one week (7 days, 168 hours) before it expires. Otherwise the spot goes to the first person that pays for it. When renewing a spot, also make sure you tell us what banner spot you're renewing.
